Over the years, the project has evolved through different forms of collaboration and programming, consolidating itself as a space dedicated to the research, production, and dissemination of contemporary art.

The gallery works with emerging and mid-career artists, supporting the development of their practices while creating a context for dialogue, experimentation, and reflection around the diverse forms of contemporary artistic expression. Its program is characterized by a diversity of languages and approaches, as well as an interest in establishing connections between the local artistic scene and the international context.

From Mallorca, Galería Reus aims to actively contribute to the contemporary cultural ecosystem by promoting projects that encourage exchange, artistic research, and the development of new perspectives.

Biography
A graduate in Journalism from the University of the Basque Country, he joined the photography collective Blank Paper in 2006 and founded Fiesta Ediciones, a publishing house specializing in photography books, in 2009.

His photographic work is always linked to the yearnings of humankind: the deep and universal longings of the citizen of mass society, who struggles against banality in an effort to transcend and confronts their dignity in an often inglorious environment. To this end, he focuses his gaze on expressions of contemporary folklore, seeking the truth of the Spaniard understood as a man of the people forced to live in the city, in modernity. Beyond a pop, detached, and cynical appearance, he is interested in the human and anthropological. Beyond the social and the documentary, he is interested in the sincere and universal impulses that lie beneath the banal, kitsch, and unglamorous surface of contemporary Spain.
