We are pleased to announce that this week we will be present at MIA Photo Fair, taking place in Milan from March 19 to 22, at Art Palma Contemporani’s booth E017, the association of contemporary art galleries of the Balearic Islands.

For this occasion, we are part of a group exhibition in which three photographs by Ricardo Cases from “El porque de las naranjas” (2014).

Ricardo Cases (Alicante, 1971) is a Spanish photographer whose work explores contemporary folklore and the human condition within everyday life. Through a vibrant and seemingly pop visual language, his images delve into deeper anthropological and emotional layers, revealing the tensions between banality and dignity in contemporary society.

In “El porqué de las naranjas”, Cases constructs a unique visual narrative rooted in the landscapes and culture of the Spanish Levante, where color, symbolism, and local identity intertwine. The series reflects his ongoing interest in capturing the universal desires and contradictions embedded in ordinary life.
